Hello from the South in the US

How is everyone? I'm seriously thinking of relocating to Uruguay from the U.S. Looking forward to learning a lot about the country from this forum.

Thanks for having me.

Hello, and welcome.

Based on your IP address, you're not far from me, and VERY close to my cousins...

:-)

How cool is that?! Are you planning to relocate as well? Oh man I NEVER thought there'd be anyone nearby thinking of making the same move. Right now I'm at the information gathering stage. My primary concerns would be having to leave my mother and father because they're getting older and we're pretty close. Otherwise, I'd be half way around the world by now. Lol!

Nice to meet you and I'll look forward to speaking with you throughout the forum. BTW does the word "Harbison" sound familiar with you fellow SCer?

Yes, I’m definitely planning to move back to Uruguay. I lived in Colonia as a teenager.

To give you a little background, here’s my introduction to the forum:

Here’s a link to pictures of our house in Colonia, waiting patiently for us to move down:

As far as your question regarding Harbison, I live about 5 minutes away, in the Ducth Fork High School area.

I have relatives in the Vox. Ever heard of that?

:-)

(Based on your IP Address, you know EXACTLY what I’m talking about.)

If there’s anything I can do to help, or questions I can answer, please let me know. I’d love to know what led you to decide on possibly moving to Uruguay.

Eddie

Eddie's introductory post was so friendly and open that I decided to join the forum. One of the best decisions I ever made.

Welcome to the board, cinnamongirl...!
